DESCRIPTION:         It is HOT in Texas, so what a better time to come inside and start building snowmen. Our 2012 Snowmen Collection is now available for Block of the Month. Our enthusiastic team of instructors will walk you through the                                                   Advanced CrayolaÒ  Technique workshop. The workshop is a hands-on                                                 workshop, meaning you are working on a block of the month as we go.

This is our first Crayon Block of the Month and one of our most popular, colorful and fun workshops. Why CrayolaÒ techniques? It is affordable and everyone can do it. From the beginner to the advanced everyone will learn how to use the crayons. The techniques learned can be used for so many applications: embroidery, wearable art, quilt blocks, family projects to include children, etc.

This workshop will include a the Block of the Month workbook with our Advanced CrayolaÒ techniques you will learn include but are not limited to: Preparing to color, how to stabilize and why, why and when to sharpen, pressure variations, shading and blending crayons, using cold technique, and how to make it permanent.

This 2012 Snowmen Collection 12 blocks are 10 ½ sq and the center medallion is 20 ½ and final borders bringing the final quilt to a nice size of 70 in. square. Great crayon project to get started on so come join the fun!
